DEESIDE was known as W. R. DEESIDE in its first year dropping the W.R. prefix in 1973. DEESIDE was acquired by W. G. Wilson & S. F. Robertson of Banff in 1977. Lloyd's Register of Shipping for 1982 lists owner as James Bruce Robertson of Banff. DEESIDE fished off port and starboard sides and decks were not enclosed to bad weather.
